While we admit, using a teleprompter is not exactly something that most people would need often in their everyday life, it is still way better to borrow one when you do need it!

A teleprompter can be used as a display device that prompts a script or speech, perfect for public speakers and the like! It is a helpful alternative to using cue cards, as the speaker does not need to pause in their speech in order to glance down at the cards in order to refresh themselves. Instead, the cues and prompts appear electronically on the teleprompter screen, allowing the speaker to keep their glance forward and appear more professional. It can also give the effect of the speech not seeming quite so wooden and memorised.
