ABOUT THIS TOOL

This is a battery jigsaw. It is great for cutting curved lines through sheets of plywood or similar materials. Because the blade is thin, it is able to turn around sweeping corners and is a great way to cut holes in the middle of pieces of wood.

WHAT IT DOES

Used for curved or detail cutting across pieces of flat timber, and along wide pieces of timber, and for cutting up boards (plywood, MDF, laminates etc).

If you want to do longer, straighter cuts, you’ll need a circular saw instead. You may prefer the jigsaw for straight cuts too if you aren’t familiar with power tools and if the cut doesn’t have to be dead straight. It’s harder to get a straight cut with a jigsaw, but it’s less scary than the circular saw.

HOW TO USE IT
